Re: LTE 2.0
My sweetie pie is the same way. As long as she doesn't complain about me being online with my friends I won't complain about her being online with hers. The only thing is, I'm the only one who has proven my friends are real. :D I always find it tough trying to convince friends that I "know" someone...
Re: Insomnia
I'm seriously considering just getting wasted and passing out as opposed to falling asleep.

Trust me, insomnia helps one post as many time as I have in the last 24 hours.
Re: Insomnia
I wish I could help, I just stay up late, but it's by choice. Are you athletic? Maybe after dinner if you went for a decent walk. Not a pokey walk but one with effort behind it. Wear your body out some, spend some calories. I usually stay up late out of choice as well but, lately, it hasn't been as...

Re: Soccer, footie, football, futbol
As a Scot, I should love fitba' but, no matter how hard I try, I just cannot get into the sport. I played as a kid and have tried countless times to watch along with my Dad but just cannot get over how much the sport bores me to tears. Toronto F.C. has an amazing atmosphere at games but, even with t...

I just started one...
Insomnia
I've had terrible insomnia lately and know a couple of others here suffer from it as well. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to overcome it? I've tried sleeping pills but they don't put me to sleep any quicker - they just make it tougher to wake up in the morning and make me more groggy the...

Re: WooooHooooo We Are Up And Running
On the contrary, I propose that we all celebrate the "Up and Running" status of this board. 10PM tonight (in each of our respective time zones), however we wish to celebrate. WoooooHoooooo!! :D I'm in as well. I think I'll go with a Guinness. If only I could get Guinness Extra Cold here in Canada. ...

Crap. I'm reading this thread and thinking about brews and posted this here inadvertently to commemorate the WooHoo thread. If the mods wish to move this to the beer thread, move away  . We can edit and delete posts but cannot move them from one thread to another (at least I haven't figured o...

Re: NASCAR 2009
I'm a bit of a rookie NASCAR fan myself. I've watched it a bit over the last couple of years but only really started watching semi-regularly last year. Much of my success this year is down to luck. I have only won one week - my stats are being boosted by a lot of second place finishes.

Re: Nice board!
Hi everyone. I don't know most of you, but I know a few. Just wanted to drop in and wish you the best in this new board. I probably won't be very active here, but I'll likely lurk from time to time. I was a very active poster on DBR several years ago and left for pretty much the exact same reasons ...

Re: Paying for the website
Well I am Scottish and was raised Catholic so I guess being green is rather fitting (for those who don't know, that was a Glasgow Celtic reference). It certainly wasn't a Rangers reference, now, was it? I'm actually Scotland's version of mixed breed - Catholic mother and Protestant father. My...

Re: LTE 2.0
Hmmm, I've dropped into second. I've got ridiculous insomnia right now so had to catch a couple of hours sleep but I'm awake (sort of) now and am back in the game.

Re: Site and Forum Suggestion List
I was hoping there might be a way to set things so that it would only quote the post to which we are immediately replying but without us having to manually remove previously quoted posts.
Re: LTE 2.0
Think the mods would pull any thread started on DBR announcing this house? Someone should post about this site on DBR as I'm sure there are some there who might like to join us but still aren't aware that this site exists. How DBR would take that is another question. Or maybe PMs are the way to go ...
