Re: Happy Birthday Colchar!

Thanks folks.

It was a holiday here yesterday so I spent the day in a friend's backyard with a beer in my hand (so much for having quit drinking). Was a nice relaxing day.

Re: Traveling to Canada

Thanks for the tips, Turk! A colleague told me yesterday that I can use my Bank of America ATM card at Scotiabank. That will make life a little easier. You'll be able to use it at any bank's cash machines in Canada. If you see RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), BMO (Bank of Montreal), CIBC (Canadian Imper...

Re: NASCAR 2012

For my starters I mostly chose drivers who I hadn't used yet this year. All of my starters are first time picks and all of my bench drivers have only been used once thus far. Seems about as solid a strategy as any other for 'Dega.

Re: NASCAR 2012

I don't feel so dirty any more :D My other drivers didn't do quite as well (I left Boyer on the bench and he finished 7th) but the points for Blech will make up for that a little bit. I'm glad I picked up a few points in this race because we are off to 'Dega next week and, as everyone knows, that is...

Re: NASCAR 2012

Thanks! I needed this win!!

And if I remember correctly next week's race is a Saturday night affair so everyone keep that in mind so that you don't miss making your picks.

Re: NASCAR 2012

I completely forgot that the race was tonight and therefore didn't get the chance to choose which drivers I wanted as starters. I would have swapped 'Dinger or Menard in for Burton on the B-List and Mears in for Labonte on the C-List. I hope my forgetfulness doesn't bite me in the ass in the final r...

I love sundaes and I love bacon but there are certain things that just do not belong together no matter how much you might love them individually.

Re: Happy Birthday CrazieTalk!!!!!

Wow, I was thinking it was tomorrow but labor must have begun on 4/7/09 with the actual delivery date on 4/8/09. Hoppy Beerthday to us! A great place to be. A good night for a celebratory brew. Yup, we actually went online very briefly on the seventh with a forum that lasted for only a few hours. I...

Re: Anyone Buy A Lottery Ticket?

The winning ticket last night was bought in Maryland - I really hope it was a Duke fan passing through... :duke: I read that the jackpot wasn't won and it up to $640 million next week. There were 3 winners in last night's drawing, the ticket purchased in MD and one each in Illinois and Kansas. Must...
