Re: NASCAR 2012

I was so caught up in watching the Ryder Cup that I totally forgot about the race today!

Re: NASCAR 2012

Hamlin wins today... he killed the field. JJ was 2nd best. Bowyer, JG, and Kes also had strong performances. I left Hamlin on the bench but still managed to have all of my drivers finish in the top ten in the race. I don't think I've ever accomplished that before. Congrats to Iowa for having a fant...

Re: UNC Scandal Montage. Heh.

Has there been any movement on the scandal? Is there an investigation going on? Is it a legit investigation or will it be a whitewash?

I need to make my picks for this week...can I be next in line to borrow our roulette wheel? Or should I just use the dart board method that I use for 'Dega?

Re: NASCAR 2012

I was at a BBQ this afternoon and, since it lasted until about 3am, I didn't get to see any of the race at all.

How Well Do Any Of Us Really Know Lavabe?

So I was just watching an old episode of Law & Order (so old that Briscoe and Logan were still the detectives and Cragen was still in charge of the squad) in which the victim's boyfriend was the original suspect in the murder (so basically like every other episode of the series). The boyfriend's nam...

Re: A News Story/Video For Our Resident Lemur Lover

Could perhaps be a colloquial term used up here. Either that or the reporter hadn't a clue what they were talking about.

As stated before, colchar, Tilly, and I had the exact same picks.

In other words, we all fucked this one up royally!

Re: NASCAR 2012

I think I won this week. I wish I had started Truex instead of Montoya, not for the CTN pool but for the other one that I am entered in as I think doing so would have won me that one as well. Someone in that pool has been doing very well all season. I am ahead of them, but just barely, and they had ...

Re: Olympic Thread

From ESPN's write-up of the men's basketball game, it appears that Chris Paul has been up to his old antics. I cannot watch Olympic basketball. What fun is there in watching the US kick the crap out of damned near every team in the tournament? Nobody can compete with them - it is as bad as women's ...

Re: Olympic Thread

Dan Patrick reported that the Canadians were warned in advance not to delay the game. Ive seen no confirmation of that. Julie Foudy of ESPN reported that the world feed showed that the ref may have warned the Canadian goalkeep in advance of the call. Having said that, Foufy has never seen the call ...

US vs. Canadian women's Soccer: No comment. :-$ That was a fucking disgrace in so many ways. That ref was completely incompetent and was rather selective in her application of the rules. Well, I guess the calls didn't go the Canadians' way? The Americans committed a handball foul that wasn't called...
