Re: NASCAR 2010
A couple of friends (including one guy that used to post OY) and I are planning a trip to Daytona next summer. We're renting an RV in Jacksonville and driving down to stay in the infield. Have your friend post here and join us in the Fantasy League!! Sadly (or gladly), I have not been to the Nation...

Re: Do You use Bar Soap in the Shower?
I use lever When Lever Bros. came out with their body bar, they did a radio promotion where the winning caller got to shoot free throws against someone else to win a trip to the ACC Tourney play-in (Les Robinson) game and compete in the finals before the game. Well, Mrs. Ozzie won on WRAL radio and...

Re: NASCAR 2010
FWIW, the Bristol night race is the best NASCAR event I've ever experienced. I haven't visited most of the tracks, but I've been to Daytona for what was then called the Firecracker 400, Charlotte for the all star race and the 600, and the September Richmond race. All of the events were good, but the...

Re: When was the Last Time You Threw Up?
Last winter the entire family got two different stomach bugs in a six week period. The first round hit me up top, the second round hit me under the belt. Bad memories.

Re: Favorite Shampoo?
I use the giant bottles of the Suave knockoffs of other expensive brands. It doesn't really matter to me which brand they're knocking off as long as it's cheap and smells nice.

Re: Do You use Bar Soap in the Shower?
Still a bar soap guy. Irish Spring for years. I demand my soap to have no moisturizers in it. I want my skin to be nice and crackly when I'm done so I know I'm clean. I don't like any of that crap that makes my skin feel smooth or slimy. QFT. All I want my soap to do is clean me and help keep me fr...

Re: NASCAR 2010
Just bought tickets to Bristol on August 21. I was surprised at home many good seats are still available. We're sitting row 30 midway between the exit of turn 4 and the start/finish line. Anybody else going? Saving funds for next year ... if I'm in the US in early July next year, looks like I'll tr...

Re: Brett Favre to retire YET AGAIN
Related question: What does Favre's retirement mean for Peterson from a FFL perspective? Does it make him more valuable because he'll have to shoulder more of the offensive load, or does it decrease his value because defenses will put 8 in the box to stop the run? On balance, I'm leaning toward incr...

Re: Brett Favre to retire YET AGAIN
I'm trying to make myself care about Favre's latest retirement, but I don't think I'm over my last case of Favre fatigue.

Re: What's for dinner?
Cornish Hens are fun. Have you ever tried spatchcocking? Definitely a recommended technique for grilling up a bird. No, I haven't tried it, but after doing a couple of searches, it looks like a good way to grill poultry. This time I just halved the hen, used EVOO, medium ground pepper, and sea salt...

Re: What's for dinner?
Grilled Cornish hen, fresh green beans, a goat cheese and fresh mozzarella bruschetta, and a bottle of Chianti. This is the first time I've grilled a Cornish hen, so I'm anxious to see how it turns out. I didn't start cooking until 8:45, so this will be a late :jawdrop: dinner. Cornish Hens are fun...
