I am on hold with Verizon. My phone decided this morning that it should no longer send or receive texts.
I have been very happy with the Verizon tech support folks over the last couple of weeks. Turned out it was a hardware (or firmware) problem in my phone, and they replaced it, but they spent lots of time on the phone with me, trying to get it fixed that way first. I can only complement and recommend their tech support department, both the front line and second level folks I dealt with.
That said, I hope they can get your problem fixed! }}}}}}

I was on hold quite some time, but the lady I talked to was very helpful, and it's working again.
It did run out of battery after that, but that isn't Verizon's fault.
Thanks for the good thoughts, Ozzie!

Good morfternoon from Holden Beach!

I was about to "harumph" this morning when one of the troopers called and asked me to come to a nasty wreck scene. Double fatality and baby airlifted to hospital.
Kind of puts my sour "I'm at the office mood" in perspective.
Good morfternoon.

I hope the baby is going to be okay. How sad.

Harumph.
Court all morning, defendants representing themselves all afternoon.
There's a reason for the courtroom adage, "A person who represents himself has a fool for a client."
I already have a splitting headache.

Break from murder case. All we have left is the statement of the defendant, which is on video and lasts 1 hour and 24 minutes. About an hour and ten minutes of that consists of the defendant using the f word. I think he uses it at some point as every part of speech.
Good morfternoon, and harumph. PHB is back a day early.
On a positive note, he has decided that giving up drinking entirely was a little much and has decided a beer on occasion is not a bad thing.

Oh, oh, oh! Somewhere in my files, hard-copy files, not software, I have a dialog on the versatility of the F word! If I can find it I'll post it in the joke thread. F really is the most versatile word in the English language! Trust me, it is!

It's probably not the best word to use in front of a jury of one's peers.

Good morfternoon!
I got my surprise of the summer (except this time he told me ahead of time, rather than tapping me on the shoulder and scaring me half to death). Sam is coming for a visit. I'm a very happy mama.
