Re: The Carolina Lost So I Am Smiling Thread
I confess: I turned off the TV when Vernon Carey fouled out. I actually thought (and told several people) that Duke had lost the game. Facebook posts from a couple of fellow Crazietalkers clued me in to the comeback. Good news is, Hulu kept recording the game for me even after I turned off the TV. I was able to pick up watching right where I had stopped. What a comeback! I’m now thinking that maybe I can’t watch games live any more. Not that I’m superstitious or anything.

I'm feeling that too, AD. Max kept texting scores while I was working on the NYT crossword, and when we went to OT I turned it on, then off, then on, then off.ArkieDukie wrote: ↑February 9th, 2020, 6:38 amI confess: I turned off the TV when Vernon Carey fouled out. Re: The Carolina Lost So I Am Smiling Thread
My sheep friend went to the game last night. He wore black. Not sure if he was trying to blend in with the Deacs, or in pre-mourning.
I am working to convince him that there is a better way. He has already decided that, should I direct the band again, he and his best friend are coming to Cameron. An expensive start, but a start nonetheless.

Both Carolina's mens and womens teams are now on two game losing streaks, and both were kicked off by losses to us.

I've ridden in parades, waving and experiencing "smile face ache". The pain was nothing compared to how the corners of my mouth are beginning to shake and ache NOW!

I don't usually post a picture on two different threads but if this does make you smile nothing will

Carolna fans in the Dean Dome have to be having a sense of Deja Vu.

Not to be outdone by the men, the Lady Heels lost their fourth in a row, in a total 17 point beatdown, to BC.
(On the same day that our women moved into 3rd place in the conference standings.)

I'm happy for our players but I sure hope that the team's recent success doesn't mean that Coach P keeps her job another year.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑February 16th, 2020, 4:33 pm
