The blue birds are back, working on a new nest. We will check in a few days for eggs. They are so pretty. I hope Mickey doesn't get the mom or dad.

A snake got the blue bird eggs. So sad. Bud just put a metal barrier on the post that should block the snakes. Fingers crossed. The birds are building back a new nest. Me, I feel sad. I made a vodka Majito.

Last night at dinner at the River House Seafood restaurant in Savannah:

Me (sipping champagne): "Oh, this is sweet. I hope it's drier tomorrow night."

Jon: "There's only a 20% chance of rain tomorrow."

Me: "I was referring to the champagne at the rehearsal dinner."

Our Harley is hurt. He met up with the prop of our boat Friday. It cut his groin, broke one of his toes and he has a lot of stitches and 2 splints. He’s progressing well, considering. Yesterday, the veteran said it’s ok for him to walk on his own. It’s been hard, mentally, for us. We’re very great full he’s going to be ok. We dearly love him.
