Re: Breaking Down Alabama (Duke's 3rd Opponent)

Mark Ingram had knee surgery and is out for Alabama's opening game. He is questionable for week two against Penn State and who knows after that:

Re: FB practice

Extra Points: August 19 http://www.goduke.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4200&ATCLID=204979889 Positive comments on wide receiver Tony Foster. Our depth and talent at receiver is really impressive. With the offensive line being experienced (and hopefully improved), if we can establish enough of a ru...

Re: Breaking down Maryland (Duke's 5th Opponent)

Nice preview. Do you intend to update your thoughts the week before each game? A lot of things change such as injuries, unexpected developments, etc... The 17-13 win last season would've been 24-13 if Thad Lewis hadn't fumbled inside the two yard line on one drive. Conference road games are always t...

It appears I'm wrong on the future scrimmage dates so you all have fun on Saturday at the scrimmage.

Re: FB practice

The article that Bob posted is behind the blue tinted glasses a bit. Yeah, the GoDuke article was definitely all roses, while this injury report from the N&O is less than exciting: http://blogs.newsobserver.com/accnow/duke-notes-receivers-hamstrung While we are incredibly deep at wide receiver, we ...

Re: Breaking Down Army (Duke's 4th Opponent)

You hit the nail on the head in that the key to beating Army is jumping out to a lead and forcing them to try and throw the ball. In games against teams such as Army and Navy, and Georgia Tech, that run the ball and then run it some, it is important to force them out of their comfort zone. Georgia T...

Re: Breaking Down Wake

When will you be joining us this season for games now that you are back in the US? I am still working out the logistics but it appears I'll be attending the Miami game on October 16. I was looking at Army on September 25, but my Dad is signed up to play in a golf tournament in Myrtle Beach that wee...

Re: Duke vs Carolina

This article from the Miami Herald is very good: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/colleges/story/1319144.html It's Saturday afternoon in Japan, about 14.5 hours to kick-off, so I'm perusing the Internet and anxiously awaiting 0530 Sunday morning. Once Duke wins their fourth straight game by taking ...

Re: Duke - State pics

Ozzie, Thanks for the pictures. I would've loved to have been there today. I watched a Redskins-Bears preseason game in Raleigh as a kid when Gale Sayers played for the Bears. I'm pretty sure the game was at C-F.
