I had lots of fun during the weekend's street art show, but as expected I didn't sell a damn thing. (That's ok, I go for the exposure and the hopeful commissions.) I did make one really cool contact, he's an architect here in Morehead and was impressed with my work. We swapped cards, I emailed him ...

Re: Ahh, the summer haircut.
The self-inflicted haircut is really tempting - I bet I can do this. I change the brakes and oil on my cars - why can't I do a haircut? These numbers are standard right? If I get a drugstore pair of clippers, they have a "Haircuts for Dummies" book in there? Don't do it! Spend the money and get a s...

Re: The Apollo Missions Coverage - What is Missing?
If there were no sun, there would be no light to illuminate the pictures. There would be total darkness. I still think it's far more interesting to speculate about how the astronauts went to the bathroom without the privacy of a door and a bathroom fan. :text-tmi: Set acoustics for full reverb: TUR...

The garden is thriving. Some of the tomatoes are 3 and 4 inches round, corn is up about 5 inches. I started okra from seed and Bud planted most of it yesterday. All the other plants are doing well. Bud did cut the garden back some. It's no longer a 1/2 acre, . Next, you should add some hops ...

It was very hot today walking 18. But I had my moments, like birdieing 6, 7 and 8 (pars 3, 5 and 4)! Hadn't done that in quite a while. Like 19 years ago, when I birdied 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, shooting a 31 on the front 9 and 71 overall, my only round under par (72) ever. Today wasn't like that other th...

Re: Do you crush your Ramen?
I don't make soup; after cooking, I drain off most of the water and then season the noodles with about half of the packet and eat them like spaghetti with a fork. Good point on the packet! I try to minimize on it as well. I also look to make sure there is no MSG in any of the foods/seasonings, etc....
